Nicole Briggs grew up in Washington, D.C., where she studied and taught dance, and coached girls’ competitive gymnastics. She discovered Pilates when she worked at a Chiropractic office in San Francisco. One of the doctors gifted her with Pilates lessons, which relieved her pain, and improved her connection to her body. Nicole began studying with Jay Grimes in 2008, and has been a student at Vintage Pilates since 2010. She is a graduate of the Master’s program in THE WORK. Nicole believes that everyone can do Pilates, and loves the integrity of the movement and the flow of each exercise. Nicole has a B.A. in Dance from UC Irvine, and owns her own Pilates studio — Strong Body Pilates —in Studio City.
