Suzanne Packer has been active her entire life. She has a love of skiing, hiking biking and walking. In 2007 when muscle imbalance and chronic tightness curtailed her activities, she discovered Pilates and it has made all the difference. She has been teaching Pilates for over 5 years and is a graduate of Jay Grimes’ program, THE WORK. Pilates is her passion and she encourages clients to open their minds and learn to let go and allow their bodies to move without fear or restriction. In this way, clients take home the joy of the work and not just the exercise.
Joseph Pilates said, “The only real guide to your true age lies not in years or how you THINK you feel but as you ACTUALLY are as infallibly indicated by the degree of natural and normal flexibility enjoyed by your spine through life. If your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old; if it’s completely flexible at 60, you are young.”
